on every freaking part of my body. the fragrance (note that fragrance does not automatically mean nice/sweet-smelling, as we learnt in Occupational Med) has permeated and invaded my clothing and clings to the top layers of the keratin covering my stratified squamous keratinized epithelium. probably suffocated a couple layers of my skin cells. i can just imagine those poor cells, shriveling up in the smoke, choking, and asphyxiating. not nice.

anw, why this is happening is not cos i have decided to smoke myself to preserve my meat and allow generations of the future to experience the wonderful aromas, and swoon over the delicate taste of smoked human flesh. cos i went to Newton Hawker Centre for a late night supper post-OT3 with a general number of medicine friends and some of my OG mates.

i will now proceed on to summarize my supper into happy points:

1. had great food - char kway teow, fried carrot cake, aw luat (oyster egg), hokkien mee..
2. caught up with ppl i haven't talked to in ages (some of my OG mates)
3. took a breather amidst the mounts of notes i have to go thru
4. filled my tummy - always good
5. got some good advice regarding girls asking guys out. 
6. found out some interesting information - like how qy likes to see men with moobs in compromised positions. and his new found "interest". in addition, the guys in my OG were talking about joining SDU to find their better halves, and "freaking out" as they were getting old, and urging me to find a guy before i graduate.
7. free parking! was so happy i didnt have to tear coupon.
8. qy treated drinks, cos he lost a bet regarding a parking lot. he told me to drive forward cos he saw an empty lot, but from my angle i saw the bum of a suzuki swift (hate them) so i asked him if he would like to bet on it. and he went "YAR!" *damn confident* and i won. free drinks :D lucky we never make you get stingray lors.

for goodness sake! "guys age like wine, girls turn to vinegar" who is more worried? its so strange talking to them about these things, they seem to be trivializing the problem, when its like totally socially acceptable for them to ask the opposite gender out. hahaha, they did offer good, strong advice, and its nice listening to how guys think, once in a while. instead of girls just encouraging you to gao bai, sometimes i think they think less of your welfare then their gossipy fun. tsk.

on a nice happy note, OT3 was superb. the story was kinda flouncy, they love development was kinda awkward and not really there for tiffany and bengseng, this was probably due to the multiple storylines they were cramming into the plot. but i love mervyn and eugenia! so typical-kdrama-y love story. loved the music, the quah brothers are terribly talented. i do think med has probably the best spread of multi-talented ppl, blessed with great athletes, wonderful musicians, great actors. anything we do is always a success. much depends on who's at the helm of things though, (refering to OT2).
