i have finally got that settled thank goodness. the bill came up lesser than i imagined. strange thing is, alcohol is cheaper than soft drinks. well thats what you get if you go have a non-alcoholic party at an old-man's club. at least there will be wine :D

2. decor
i am currently settling the "blooons". (omg. i just recalled the time when i was in an act cute phase in my younger days and i said balloons as "blooons" *pukes*) this online balloon shop im dealing with is making me pull out my hair! she's so.............nua. ppl giving her business she gives me drips and drabs of information. and after 5 emails i still havent settled my order. she's cheap and environmentally friendly though. saving gaya. HOORAY. i hope i get this settled over the weekend at least.

went with jy to get some "bloons" and ribbons yesterday at this place next to bugis village. :) CHEAP. :D and the balloons they sell are the same as those my mom bought ages ago for my 12th birthday party. i recall there were so many leftover we started inflating them and hitting them around in the house.. maybe not hit, more like attempt to keep in air-borne. and one balloon hit a crystal ballroom-dressed lady figurine my mom got in paris. and it fell on the floor and broke into half (at the waist). so i removed the pieces and moved the remaining crystals further apart, so as to obscure the missing crystal lady's place.

it worked! my parents didnt notice for 2 weeks. until i couldnt take it anymore and told them the truth. hahaha.

3. cake
i really hope this turns out okay. i already paid the deposit and i hope she'll turn up with an amazing cake. if my money goes to waste i probably will cry buckets. and if my cake doesnt show i'll cry WATER TANKS!

4. dress/accessories
i just bought. $152 of accessories. from diva.
im surprised and horrified myself. the cashier literally had to pry my fingers away from my ATM card. enough said.

5. hair/make up
where to go where to go?!
anyone has any ideas?

6. door gifts
jy was saying it isnt necessary but after all the email correspondance with sticky, i think i should at least get the pretty sweets from them. even though their packaging was amazing expensive for something so hideous. at least at present they allow me to get just the sweets and to settle the packaging on my own. hahaha.
okay time to recruit help! :D

7. rsvp
i need to make sure everyone turns up, cos if not food and drinks will be catered for invisible men and women! o.O

party prep is making me tear out my hair. on a brighter note. had a really good lone shopping experience. i think shopping alone bears the most fruit. REALLY. even had lunch on my own. had the assorted sushi at itacho sushi, ion. very nice :D
there was this french business man who was eating on his own. looked like scharcozy. and then two burly italian men came in declaring they want taro sushi and ordered in really bad english and bad manners and LOUD too. the difference in characters between the french and italian men was amazing.
